About prokube
We know how wide the gap can be
between prototype and production.
prokube grew out of years of building ML and agent infrastructure for industrial customers. We built the product because we have seen first-hand how much platform work sits between a promising prototype and reliable production AI.
Our story
Built in production.
prokube didn't start in a conference room. It began in 2021 as part of the (K)ISS research project, together with Airbus Defence and Space, Just Add AI, and the Helmut-Schmidt University Hamburg. Our role: building AI infrastructure that would actually run in production. The problem back then was exactly the one our customers face today: teams need infrastructure that is reliable in day-to-day operations and abstracts away platform complexity from data scientists, so they can focus on data, models, and algorithmic questions instead of infrastructure work. The challenge has only widened: next to classic ML and deep learning, teams now increasingly need infrastructure for agentic AI, tool access, sandboxes, model endpoints, and governed runtimes. Years of that work turned into prokube.ai GmbH in 2024. Today we run prokube as a focused team out of Bremen and Hamburg, with production AI infrastructure deployed at enterprise customers across Germany.

We work remote-first with offices in Bremen and Hamburg. prokube is part of the JAAI Group, an established collective in AI and digital transformation. The group handles the things that keep a company running — HR, finance, marketing, customer access — so we can focus on what we're actually good at: building infrastructure for AI that lasts in production.
